Property Details

Lumera Chalets is an Oasis. Snuggled below a large knobbly outcrop mountain known affectionately as St Patricks Head, over looking the east coast of Tasmania, it provides travelers with an ancient sense of protection and safety as well as the most sensational coastal panorama in all of Australia.

We are only minutes away from the most beautiful beaches in Tasmania.

There are numerous walks surrounding the property including St Patricks Head, South Sisters, and Blue Tiers.

Close to Freycinet National Park, Douglas Apsley National Park, The Bay of Fires, Mt William National Park, and Ben Lomond National Park.

Guests are able to interact with several hand reared, Wallabies, Possums and Walter the Wombat. Walter is a cheeky juvenile with an attitude, so we don't encourage too much contact however most guests do get to meet our cheeky boy!

Most guests stay multiple nights as Lumera Chalets is the perfect base to explore the east and north coasts of Tasmania.

We have no glitz, no games room, no gimmicks: Just you, the many rescued bennets wallabies, their little joey's and pademelons wallabies, and wombats who are friendly and waiting to be fed with special food provided by Peter
