We’re about to start major upgrades on Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Town Hall‘s elevators to increase their overall efficiency. This lift work is the first step in a refurbishment program that will also see Adina Town Hall sport a contemporary new look in our apartments and public areas in the coming months. While there will be some short term-pain, it will be for long-term gain as our elevators are upgraded and given a high-tech makeover.
As hoteliers, we understand that lifts are the backbone of a high-rise hotel, so we’ve taken the following measures to ensure guest comfort remains a priority, and to reduce the overall demand:
One lift will continue to be operational and a lift attendant will be rostered during peak periods in the morning and evening to ensure the flow of traffic is smooth.
We understand there could be some delays during peak times, so guests who checkout earlier than 9am will receive a complimentary on-the-go breakfast with a choice of either a fresh fruit salad or a muesli and fruit cup.
Stairwells will still be accessible between floors.
We will happily consider any request for corporate clients to be allocated to lower level floors, which allow them to use the stairs as an alternative mode of transport.
We’ve adjusted housekeeping operating procedures to ensure lift traffic will be significantly reduced.
Guest comfort is important and every care taken to keep noise to a minimum during the upgrades. The first round of improvements will run six days-a-week, from June to December, with works scheduled between 8am and 8pm. Phase Two will begin in February 2020 and will see all 145 apartments and public areas completely refurbished.

The credit card bond will be released from your card 5 to 10 working days after your departure date.
