Property Details

Pumphouse Point is a boutique wilderness retreat located inside the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park – one of the most celebrated Wilderness World Heritage Areas on the planet! The property is set on Australia’s deepest lake (Lake St Clair) and makes use of stunningly refurbished industrial buildings, one of which is spectacularly positioned 240m out over the crystal clear highland water.

This retreat offers 19 rooms of beautiful ensuite accommodation, comfy lounges and roaring log fires. Each room has a gourmet larder filled with exceptional Tasmanian produce and each lounge contains an honesty bar where you become the bar staff. Join us in the Shorehouse each night for a shared plate dinner with fellow guests for some modern farmhouse fare. We’ve teamed up with Coal River Farm to bring the best Tasmanian food to the shores of Lake St Clair creating a menu using fresh seasonal produce from their farm kitchen.

Whether exploring Tasmania’s premier bushwalks, experiencing the lake from your dinghy or from the seat of brand new e-bike the scene is set to create your own adventure.

Check-in time starts at 2pm. Check-out time is 10am.
